This evening’s performance is a tribute to the music of sarangi maestro late Pandit Ramesh Misra, whose inspirational music is featured in many of these dances. Malini Srinivasan presents excerpts from Tejas – Luminous, a dance production exploring the connections between the spiritual, the corporeal, light and sound. Including: the Evening’s solemn rituals, Dawn’s awakening body and spirit, and the Day’s ecstatic renewal.
