ABOUT

Celebrating Women of Song in Theatre, Golden Age of Hollywood, Opera & Jazz: Savor the shimmering vibes of fearless, untamed performing artists who refused to learn their place: singin’, lovin’, and livin’

as they damn pleased in the face of racism and patriarchy. Steeped in artistic dignity, they were the architects of their personas; creators of joy and laughter as well as stark pathos and grit.

Internationally acclaimed singer/actress Goldee B. Greene stands on the shoulders of these great ones: Ethel Waters, Bessie Smith, Mae West, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Marlene Dietrich, Lena Horne, Dinah Washington, Edith Piaf, and Delilah/Samson et Dalila. Goldee has studied Opera and Diction at the Juilliard School, and is a proud member of Actors Equity Association. She is an honorée of a Certificate of Recognition from the House of Representatives for her work in the arts.
