18TH ANNUAL LA MAMA UMBRIA INTERNATIONAL PLAYWRIGHT RETREAT During the 10-day Program, playwrights will participate in workshops with a Master Playwright, have time to work on their own writing and share with other participants. Playwrights may visit Spoleto and other Umbrian cultural sites.

It was a wonderful multi-generational, multi-talented gathering, and the epitome of a La MaMa community. And now we look to the next 25 years of our programs, our growing scholarships to artists, our various home restorations and their hospitalities, and the incredible mix of our supporters. Together we are an unmistakable creative community.
