Ellen Stewart Theatre

The Ellen Stewart Theatre is La MaMa’s largest venue. Located at 66 East 4th Street on the 2nd floor, this space is ADA-accessible, has a large lobby with a small kitchenette, gender-neutral restrooms, dressing rooms with showers, piano, Wi-Fi, lights, soft goods, and sound system. A large performance space with silver tiled walls and a black floor with marley. There is a colorful archway and stairs going up to the balcony. Risers are set up with black folding chairs for the audience. Downstairs Theatre

The Downstairs Theatre is located at 66 East 4th Street on the basement level. This space is ADA accessible, has a large lobby with portable café/bar, gender-neutral restrooms, dressing rooms with showers, piano, wifi, lights, soft goods, andsound system. Capacity: 150

A performance space with one black wall, two brick walls, and a wooden floor. There are risers and black folding chairs set up for the audience. The Club at La MaMa

With its historic façade restores, and its interiors reimagined from top to bottom, The Club and the Community Arts Space at the new 74A East 4th Street are ADA accessible, with new lighting and sound equipment, a drop-down screen and projector, fully updated building systems, and a building-wide data network to facilitate live streaming and media.

The Club at La MaMa is located at 74A East 4th Street. The seating configurations in this intimate theatre are flexible—ranging from wide (as shown), to thrust stage, to end stage—to suit the needs of the production.

With its historic façade restores, and its interiors reimagined from top to bottom, The Club and the Community Arts Space at the new 74A East 4th Street are ADA accessible, with new lighting and sound equipment, a drop-down screen and projector, fully updated building systems, and a building-wide data network to facilitate live streaming and media.

The Community Arts Space is located at 74A East 4th Street. Features an outdoor terrace, and small pantry. Perfect for intimate cabaret performances, daytime meetings, and evening receptions.
