ABOUT

Loco7 reimagines the timeless tale of Don Quixote with puppets, dance, and music, showcasing the power of hope and determination. This dynamic version proves that no dream is too impossible to achieve and that, with courage and heart, fear can be conquered.

In this reimagined journey, Don Quixote and his loyal friend Sancho Panza traverse the five boroughs of New York City. Their mission? To save the world from dark forces and protect Lady Liberty. As the audience follows Don Quixote through the streets of the city, they witness his unwavering quest for love, honor, liberty, and justice—for all.

Loco7 Dance Puppet Theatre Company, founded by Federico Restrepo in 1985, develops and promotes creative productions of theatre, puppetry, dance, visual arts, and music. The undertaking of the ensemble deals with themes such as North and South American Culture and History, the Immigrants’ experience, and New York City Urban Life. Loco7 Dance Puppet Theatre is committed to improving our community through artistic and educational programming. Art has the unique power to unite communities and heal unseen wounds. Currently our season consists of fully realized theatre productions, workshops and performances for children and older adults, and a mentoring program.
