KALIKASAN: A Climate Justice Benefit Concert – December 10

ABOUT KALIKASAN

When Typhoons Tino and Uwan devastated the Philippines in November 2025, they exposed more than the power of climate change, revealing decades of corruption, failed infrastructure, and government abandonment that turned storms into catastrophe. DALUYONG gathers Filipino and diaspora artists, scientists, and organizers for an evening of witness, truth-telling, and collective action in support of typhoon relief efforts for disaster victims back in the Philippines.
Panel Discussion (5-6:30pm): “No More Floods, No More Lies: A Climate Justice Conversation” brings together journalists, organizers, climate scientists, and disaster medicine experts examining systemic failures and diaspora responsibility.
Performance (7pm): Kinding Sindaw takes the stage with dances, songs, and art in motion.
All proceeds go to Alibyo Cebu – Ayuda Network, a grassroots coalition of workers, farmers, students, and health workers providing community kitchens and direct aid to typhoon survivors.
More than a performance or exhibition, KALIKASAN is a practice of solidarity, transforming collective grief into action, diaspora resources into relief, and community gathering into sustained commitment to justice.
