Hearing Time in Silence – January 30-31
74A E 4th Street
New York, NY 10003
Tickets:
“An organism breathing: order, chaos, chance. You—part and whole, indivisible.”
ABOUT
Hearing Time in Silence is an immersive art organism that composes sound and silence, time and relation through auditory, visual, and bodily experience. Audience, performers, objects, media, light, sound, and silence function as equal agents, overlapping to form a living universe.
Through shifting time and space, audiences encounter multiple coexisting universes. Movement and stillness, live performance and media, sound and silence intertwine, prompting the question of where the universe one enters exists. The space functions as an expanded opera, a constantly transforming sensorial field in which presence, relation, and time are continuously reconfigured.
Hearing Time in Silence is a durational performance. Audience can enter and exit at any point throughout the performance time, 4–8pm on Friday and Saturday, Jan 30-31.
