Maria Camia will develop The Healing Shipment, a 45- minute spiritual / sci-fi musical play using technique in five life sized body puppets, live projection mapping, and a set that opens into multiple universes with live singing (11 songs) and music: piano, drums, and electric cello. This play continues the Aricama Epic and is about fourth-generation Aricamian space cadet, Marikata, communicating with her deceased grandmother, Maricama, to heal her currently dying mother, Mar. The concept of this show is about generational trauma, extremes in healing and destruction, bliss and depression, and service to self and service to others.
