Puppetry and Visual Theatre

The workshop will give directors an opportunity to create original pieces using puppets and objects, movement and design, which are hallmarks of LOCO7's work. Aspects of the workshop will entail participants creating their own puppet, learning how to work with puppets/objects (Restrepo will lend puppets he has created), movement training, and dramaturgy, all used and incorporated towards creating an original performance with emphasis placed on creating linear or abstract stories with little use of spoken text.
