Baby Janes (A Night at the Follies with the Baby Janes)

Stacey Sipowicz - Broadway: Cabaret (Rosie). Tours: Fame (European), Cabaret (1st B'way National). Regional: Cabaret, Westchester & Ogunquit; Great American Songbook. Film: Watever Lola Wants. Other faborites: A Wonderful Life (Actors' Fund Concert), tap dancing with Sir Elton John at Carnegie Hall & swinging on the trapeze with the Baby Janes in NYC. Originally from the Boston area where she danced with Impulse Dance Company.

Kristin Olness - Broadway: Cabaret (Helga). Regional: Barnum (Mrs. Stratton) Westchester Broadway Theater. She has performed on many different aerial apparatti throughout the Metropolitan area as well as touring throughout the country with Circus Nexus, Cirque Le Masque, Poet Productions and Imaginaerial. She is the producer and co-creator of the Baby Jane's.

 

American Ballroom Theater Company

Showdance champions and Broadway dance couple Pierre Dulaine & Yvonne Marceau founded American Ballroom Theater (ABrT) in 1984 and established the company’s educational arm, Dancing Classrooms, in 1994. Internationally renowned performers and teachers, Dulaine & Marceau are four-time winners of the British Exhibition Championships, earned the 1993 Dance Magazine Award, and received the 1989-1990 Astaire Award for Best Dancing on Broadway, in the roles they created and choreographed as the mellifluous couple in Tommy Tune’s Grand Hotel. Dulaine & Marceau have been faculty members at both the School of American Ballet and The Juilliard School, as well as guest teachers at Alvin Ailey. In 2005 they received the Americans for the Arts Award for education. Four members of the American Ballroom Theater will be performing;  Alee Reed & Sidney Grant and Diego Ajuz & Danielle Lima.

Alee Reed - Alee Reed is involved in American Ballroom Theater in an array of projects.  She serves as Educational Liaison for “Dancing Classrooms,” supervising teaching artists that go into the New York City public schools to teach ballroom dance and social skills.  She also enjoys teaching advanced children who have completed the “Dancing Classrooms” program and now participate in the Saturday Scholarship Program, as well as instructing adults in ABrT’s American Ballroom Dance Studio. 

 

Bellyqueen Dance Theater

Bellyqueen™ Dance Theater is a professional world dance company based in New York city directed by Kaeshi Chai, and co-founded by Amar Gamal.  The Bellyqueen dance repertoire encompasses bellydancing in it's traditional "Raks Sharqi" format, as well as Middle-Eastern dance blended with other dance forms such as popping, hip-hop, modern, jazz, ballet, gypsy, flamenco, chinese, afro-haitian and Tribal.  www.bellyqueen.com

 

Kendall Cornell Women's Clown Group

Kendall Cornell has been creating and performing clown work in New York City and abroad since falling in love with it 13 years ago. She also created and starred in an innovative short clown film, A Clown Idyll, which will premiere in NYC this year. Kendall has a background in modern dance, and she danced alongside Jennifer Muller/The Works Company for over 15 years, also teaching Muller technique classes in NYC and Europe.  Her clown training has been with some of the best clowns and teachers in the western world such as David Shiner (whom she assisted in his master classes), Chris Bayes, Angela de Castro, Ami Hattab, and the renowned Philippe Gaulier (whom she also assisted, after bringing him to teach in the USA for the first time).
