|Y'all Ready for This? is a celebration of songwriting
and friendship among four extremely talented downtown performers.
Though Jim Andralis (formerly of the Isotoners and LD & the New Criticism),
Bridget Everett (At Least It's Pink, Taylor Mac's Red Tide Blooming), Larry
Krone (Larry Krone and Family, Artist/Entertainer), and Kenny Mellman (Kiki
and Herb, At Least It's Pink) have been performing together in different
combinations for the past couple of years at venues such as Joe's Pub, Starlight
Bar & Lounge, Ars Nova, and Dixon Place, Y'all Ready for This? is the
first collaborative production in which each performer will sing none of
his or her own material, but only songs written by the others. As
each of the four writers has a distinctly different style, and many of the
songs were written specifically to be sung by their writer, this mix-up
is sure to yield some real showbiz revalations!
