A comedy performance by Jeffrey Essmann & Susan Burns.

Susan Burns - just spent this summer performing in The Wit and Wisdon of Will's Women with the Seaside Shakespeare Company in Nantucket, Massachusetts. She is delighted to be working with Jeffrey again, and has admired him since they worked together in the 80's and 90's at the West Bank Cafe Down Stairs Theatre Bar, along with Nancy Giles, Lew Black and Rusty McGee. She also appeared in a play by Jeffrey entitled Circus of Death. Susan is a member of the Actors Studio and is a Usual Suspect at New York Theatre Workshop across the street.

Jeffrey Essman - was part of the burgeoning downtown performance scene in the 80's. His one-man show Artificial Reality at New York Theatre Workshop was nominated for a Drama Desk Award, and his cult hit Triplets in Uniform, was produced at La MaMa ETC. While living in Chicago, he was a regular contributor to the NPR affiliate there, and was featured in a performance series at Steppenworlf. His short play, Johannes, Pyotr & Marge, was produced at the Actors Theatre of Louisville as part of the 2005 Humana Festival.
