DELICIOUS RIVERS, written and composed by Ellen Maddow was created by the same OBIE award winning team that brought you PAINTED SNAKE IN A PAINTED CHAIR: direction - Paul Zimet, Set design - Nic Ularu, Lighting - Carol Mullins, costumes - Kiki Smith, choreography - Karinne Keithley. In addition there will be animations by Anna Kiraly. The show was developed in collaboration with the mathematician Marjorie Senechal . Set in a New York city post office, this funny and moving music-theatre work explores the pleasure of deductive reasoning; the solution of a mystery; the link between order and the unexpected; and the delight in discovery of pattern and meaning.
