| Justice and beer will be served when Marga Gomez
and Julie Goldman convene for three nights of stand-up comedy and barely
legal acts at The Club @ La Mama. In their new show, Gomez & Goldman:
Stand Up and Slander!, Gomez & Goldman will use every joke in the book
to defame Condoleezza Rice, the Cheney family, the axis of evil and Crest
White Strips. A surprise dyke tribunal may be held to entertain frivolous
lawsuits posed by audience members. This is the first joint project by Gomez
& Goldman, two of the most penetrating lesbians in comedy. It may be
their last if Alberto Gonzalez gets a hold of them.
MARGA GOMEZ
Marga is fierce, funny, foxy and one of the first openly gay comedians
in the country. Marga’s career is profiled in the documentary Laughing
Matters, recently aired on Here TV. In 2004 Marga received a GLAAD Award

Details. She will be seen in the upcoming VH-1 special Big Gay 40. Marga’s
stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central, Showtime, and HBO’s
Comic Relief.
